Our Women's 3 Inch Wide Brim Wool Felt Hat is a great hat for all ages. Its simplicity can be appreciated by women of all types. The hat is made with soft wool felt for warmth and comfort. The brim is wide and somewhat floppy for a stylish look and the braided leatherette band around the crown of the hat is the perfect touch. I feel like this is a 2-and-a-half star product, but I'm rounding up to 3 since there are no half-stars allowed.First and most importantly, the brim is not cut round. It looks like it was cut out by hand, by someone who was in a hurry and didn't meticulously follow a pattern. See the first picture - it should be easy to see the "wobbly" cut. I was expecting a more cleanly round shape.There were also a number of flaws in the fabric, most of which were small and didn't photograph well but I did outline some of them in the second picture.Pictures three, four, and five show definite wrinkles in the fabric which I was also not expecting. Perhaps this is typical, but I thought that the fabric would be smooth all the way around.There were also some spots where the fabric appeared to be dirty, but those also did not photograph well.I think the hat will suffice for my purposes (photo shoots) but it will require some touching-up which I was not expecting to have to do. You'll have to decide for yourself whether wearing a wobbly-cut flawed-fabric hat is worth the price.Lastly, since the hat isn't for me, I can't say whether the fit is as expected, but this feedback form may require me to enter a selection for fitting anyway.
