The hat comes with an open crown. Open crown means that the crown of the hat has not been shaped. DelMonico Hatter has shaped the crown of the hat shown to have a pinch. It will be sent to you shaped with a pinch, however, at your request, other crown shapes are possible. This hat has a large customer following. We offer the hat with a 5 ligne hat band (approximately 3/8") and a binding at the edge of the brim that matches the band. The hat is fully lined and has an interior leather sweatband. The 2 3/4" brim width provides sun protection.
