Product Description

Unforgettable irresistible undeniable our shuv – here in multi wear felt – is just fun. A cult favorite of dancers, artists, architects and geeks (of all kinds), formed from a single-piece upper on our incredibly comfortable microwobbleboard™ mid soles, they are – literally – happiness at your feet. FitFlop's super-soft Shuv comfort casual clog will be your go-to shoe on lazy days or for a quick trip to the store. One-piece seam-free felt colored upper gives this clog a pure and clean look with an amazing underfoot cushion and roomy toe space for all-day comfort. Created in the UK, over a two-year collaboration between former Bliss spa-entrepreneur Marcia Kilgore, Biomechanist Dr. David Cook and a team of untiring footwear engineers, FitFlops were initially designed to help modern women squeeze a little more exercise into their increasingly hectic schedules."I thought, how amazing if I could invent something that would help fight the onset of cellulite while I'm walking to the office," says Kilgore. "I work. I have kids. I have a husband. And the likelihood of me seeing the inside of a gym in the next ten years is slim to none. That said, I'd obviously prefer to go with slim." Kilgore found Dr. Cook at The Centre for Human Performance at London's LSBU, where he envisioned injecting the patent-pending 'microwobbleboard' technology into the midsole of the function-forward flip flop. Slightly destabilizing, FitFlops feature three distinct densities of EVA foam in a single-fused underfoot piece, to challenge your muscles more every time you step - to deliver a workout while you walk. Update 6/24/2020: Still stuck with these shoes and never wear them except if I have to 2 years after purchase, On my limited income, I still can’t save enough of my social security checks to buy a pair to replace them.BTW, I have educated myself about flat souls, as they have developed a number of different densities and thicknesses and softness levels of under souls. The only shoes, or rather FitFlop “sole” worth purchasing for true comfort are the original fit flop shoes/soles. You would have to look at the Fitflop website in the fine print for each model you are interested in, to see if they were made with the original softer (wider) sole. Ignore names like Atomicush soles (can’t remember the others, offhand) “Atomicush” is a fancy name for a hard and narrow shoe sole. Trust me, it’s confusing; as each shoe style has a different name, and a separate name for the type of sole for that shoe model.Original review from 2018I have worn FitFlops for 6 or 7 years all told, as they were a godsend and the only brand I could wear for relief from spinal stenosis and the related joint pain in my knees and lower back. Even though I wear a wide width, I took a chance on FitFlops because I had read that FiFlops in general are wider in the toe box than average width shoes usually fit. That was true for the first 2 or 3 pairs of FitFlops These Shuv clogs, however, seem like a cheap knockoff compared to my earlier purchases. These are too tight in the toe box, and the shoe stretchers I’ve had in them for several weeks are not effective, due to the stiffness of the fabric. The soles are very stiff and unyielding underfoot, causing sharp pain in my knees with every step. Beware, the soles are dangerously slippery on any kind of smooth flooring or on grass or smooth concrete. The first minute I put them on, I nearly fell, simply trying to walk on wood laminate flooring. They slide on thick carpeting; really anywhere, indoors or out. I can not recommend FitFlops any more for these reasons and am looking at other comfort shoe brands from now on.I was experiencing terrible pain in my regular flat slippers because I have some arthritis in my big toe. I figured since my FitFlop sandals helped me so much, I should try these slippers. As soon as I put them on the pain went away. I will note that they are like the sandals but with a cover...meaning, they are not all cushy like you would think a slipper might be. But if fitflops work for you than these will too. Very satisfiedI hate when shoes don't have half sizes! I am an 8.5, but wide foot, so I usually order a 9. This 9 was way too long, by a solid inch or so. I re-ordered in an 8 and it was perfect. If you are between sizes, go down! The width is fine for me and because they are soft felt, they don't bother my hereditary bunions (and they hide them!)I've been looking for the shuv felt clog for awhile now. I have two pairs I've had for several years. I had tried to order similar fitflops but they didn't fit right. These are much closer. FitFlop needs to bring back their original clog. There is nothing close to them on the market and nothing fits or feels better than those old original clogs/I like these so much, I ordered another pair. They are smooth on the inside, and firm and supportive, not fuzzy and soft. I have heel pain and they are perfect for wearing around the house all day. I usually wear a 9 in other shoes, and often an 8 in Fitflops. I did get these in a 9 because of other reviews, and they are perfect.I am pleased with the purchase of these shoes. They are easy to slip on and off and are perfect for flying or quick trips out. I love the felt and it's color goes with everything. I am a big fan of the Fit Flop brand and own over a dozen pairs. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is that I don't feel they are making the quality shoe they did when they started.Don't hesitate....buy them.I use these as my indoor shoes and they are so comfortable and so supportive. I have flat feet and cannot walk barefoot. These are the best. I even bought a second pair to wear outside.I was going to send these back because they don't feel comfortable like the leather ones that I already have, however I am going to keep them they are nice and I'm sure that when I finally start wearing them they will be fine. Das neue passt in der normalen Schuhgröße.I have a pair of these already and they were wonderful slippers / shoes but these new ones are definetly lower quaility than the others ! More Plasticky sole and fit smaller ( narrower ) than the last pair . Am hoping they last .....I'm using this as an indoor shoe and it came just as expected. I like the support and the rocking when I'm walking around the house. Not sure how well it would wear as an outdoor shoe.
