Picture is deceiving. You think you’re going to get a thick felt pad that will last for years and give you a soft buffing surface. It is actually an 1/8” thin felt piece glued to the wood block. Not very soft. You can’t use a lot of pressure when buffing.It is also small. Good size for narrow cross country skis but too small for alpine skis.~ 3”x2”
