NEOPRENE LINING: These felt soled shoes have a neoprene partial lining. This lining enables you to slide these boots on or off more easily and will keep your feet warm and dry. Simms has also included corrosion-resistant lacing hardware.
PROTECTIVE RUBBER TOE CAP: Simms designed these wading boots with a durable rubber toe cap. When walking across rocky, slippery, uneven terrain these rubber caps will come in handy. The thick toe acts as protection for your toes and feet. You’ll no longer injure your toes from stubbing or stepping on sharp, unseen rocks, barnacles, or underwater tree trunks.
SCRATCH RUBBER UPPER: These felt bottom fishing boots are designed with waterproof synthetic leather and scratch rubber upper. It provides the support underfoot and at the ankle for walking over slick, slippery ground. The synthetic uppers take the abuse of brush, rock, and water in stride.

It is a very nice pair of wadding boots. It is light, solid and comfortable. The felt outsole is really thick. My wife has worn the boots for a few times. She likes it very much.
