Key Features: - Provides support and traction -Neoprene lining -Stud-compatible 12MM felt outsole -Rubber Toe Cap Care Instructions: - Air Dry after each use. -Do not place wet boots close to a heat source (fireplace, campfire, wood stove, radiator, heater, sunny windowsill) as this can weaken adhesives and cause materials to become brittle or shrink. -Dry using natural methods (air dry) and try to keep them out of the sun for long periods of time. Change the paper each hour. -If you see any mold on your boots, brush in a mixture of 80% water and 20% vinegar. -Never put your waders in the dryer, the heat will adversely affect the seam tape. -Over time the use of leather conditioners may provide increased water repellency and can prevent cracking and drying of the leather. -Store footwear in a place where temperatures are stable and normal. Do not store footwear in attics, garages, car trunks or any unventilated spaces. -Never put footwear in washing machine. The Tributary Felt Sole Wading Boots are selling quickly! ADULTS TRIBUTARY FELT SOLE WADING BOOTS: The Simms Adults Tributary felt wading boot provides the trusted support and traction to help you negotiate slick, uneven river bottoms. These boots feature a textile and synthetic lace-up upper. Studs sold separately.
NEOPRENE LINING: These felt soles shoes have a neoprene lining. This lining enables you to easily slide these boots on or off.
12MM FELT OUTSOLE: These felt bottom fishing boots are designed with a 12MM felt outsole. This outsole is stud-compatible giving fishermen a firm grip over slippery riverbeds, lake bottoms, and algae-covered rocks.
DURABLE RUBBER TOE CAP: Simms designed these wading boots with a durable rubber toe cap. When walking across rocky, slippery, uneven terrain these rubber caps will come in handy. This thick toe acts as protection for toes and feet, no more stubbing your toes on sharp, unseen rocks or underwater tree trunks.
WADING FOOTWEAR CARE: If using these wet wading boots in saltwater always clean and rinse them to prevent corrosion. Use an old vegetable brush or toothbrush to remove dust and dirt. For maximum thoroughness, remove the laces before cleaning. Use specialized boot cleaner, saddle soap or a mild dishwashing soap with luke-warm water. Do not use bar soap or detergents. Do not place wet boots close to a heat source. Always air-dry.
After six outings fishing the evening hatch the Simms boots show no sign of wear, just mud and weed seeds on the boots in the photo. Note the second photo of boots from another source with only one use after about an hour and a half the soles are separating from the boots. I got my money back on those then got those Simms and they are great. These are my first Simms and the sixth pair of wading boots. The way they are holding up with my age they could be my last pair of wading boots. Time will tell. They are way better than any of the others and they are the cheapest Simm! I was going to get the next higher grade of Simms but they weren't available at the time with felt bottomsBoots will used for Wading to fish rivers. That have slippery bottomsEverything met my expectations! These boots are made to protect your feet much better than my old boots while trout fishing. They have a large toe box for your waders to have plenty of room as well. A huge upgrade for me.I haven't had a chance to put these in the water yet but I'm optimistic that will change next week. Trying them on with stocking foot waders you definitely want to go one size up. I wear 10, 10.5 and I bought the 11. They are very comfortable. My husband loves these boots. Light weight, comfortable fit.Great Boots! Not good
