Whirlpool 279408 White Felt Seal for Washing Machine Repair

Perfect fit for my dryer and looks like it should last as long as the original set. I replaced this and the front bearing at the same time and that definitly solved my problem. The problem I had was with brown marks showing up on some of the landrey. It looked like someone scorched a crease in them with a rusty hot iron. Once I opened up the dryer it was easy to see that the landrey was getting caught up in the gap at the rear of the dryer because the front bearing and rear seal were both worn out. The front Bearing was very easy to replace. The rear seal took a little more work. I had a hard time removing the old glue until I found someone that recommended using sandpaper. You should definitly use sandpaper to remove the old glue.Whirlpool 279408 Rear Seal
